Eme
Mary Margaret "Eme" Mizioch has been teaching Pilates & Plant Based Nutrition on the North Shore for the past 2.5 years. After being on the West Coast for most of her adult life. She moved back to Salem from Los Angeles to take care of her mother who had a stroke. She became her main caregiver and had such great success with her Mums rehab that she started teaching Chair Pilates & Plant Based Nutrition at all the local Senior Centers & Council on Aging Centers (Salem, Beverly, Marblehead, Swampscott, Danvers & Hamilton). It was at the urging of Senior clients that she wanted to open her own studio.
Eme started her own training in LA after her spinal surgeon suggested physical therapy before an 8th surgery. Seeing the change and feeling the difference, her desire and passion to change careers was almost immediate. She knew if Pilates could help her with her spine issues it could help others. Combine with love of dance and training as a child and the overwhelming encouragement from my students, I have been looking for the perfect spot ever since.
Eme is Balanced Body trained and certified by Cornell University in Vegan Nutrition.
